Eveshorhema revealed that they were on a school trip to a rural area in Nigeria where the host community served them walnuts. Upon waking up in the morning, she realized her breath still smelled fresh and that prompted her to conduct research on it.
According to her “When I woke up in the morning, I hadn’t brushed my teeth yet but my breath was already fresh. Then I remembered I had eaten walnuts the previous night.”
To confirm if it was the walnut that was really at play, she consumed more nuts the following night and again she wok up with fresh breath. She then decided to investigate this phenomenon further.
