This is according to The Vendy Awards – the annual street food competition which determines who is crowned best street food vendor in New York City.
Reports say DF Nigerian won the competition. It is said to be the greatest food truck operating in the Big Apple.
Well, the beauty of the story is this – it was founded by Nigerian couple Godshelter and Bisola Oluwalogbon!
The truck which has been going for two years all started with Godshelter selling meals out of the back of his car outside the Nigerian embassy in the middle of Manhattan.
New York is a city that is known for so many different ethnicities – but it’s heart warming to see a Nigerian business winning the hearts of diners.
